No Little Girls Anymore

My youngest turned 18. It's hard to take in how fast life changes. But, with those changes come glorious revelations and memories - Just to give some of you perspective on just HOW fast - when I started working at the BSU/BCM, she was 5 yrs. old (just started Kindergarten).
My little Lisa - what a joy you have been to raise for these 18 years. Your maturity exceeds your years . You still want to learn from your Mom and Dad, you want to do the right thing, and you want to please your Savior, you even still want to go out to eat with me! How could we ever have prayed for anything more. Your grace and poise far exceeds anything this mom could have ever taught - it's all yours.
My prayer is that you will continue to dance through life as you have so far - loving doing things with the group, but willing to stand alone if your convictions require it. I am so very proud of you.
Mom

I remember Lisa being in the Pre-Teen group at Temple while I was interning with Sandra! Oh my word... I feel so old, because I just turned 27. I hope the years don't go by that fast! But I sincerely hope that my children turn out as wonderful as yours! They are beautiful and truly amazing people!

What a beautiful lady!
My favorite Lisa story is when the two of you would sit in the living room and read through "the books" together. I still double over in laughter to think that you tried to keep a straight face.

Mrs. Kathy,
I can't believe how old your girls are!!! A memory I have is you taking me home after Hee Haw practice but 1st taking me and Katie and Lisa to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. I've loved your family ever since. :)

Kathy,
Thanks for signing my blog. What a treat! I can't believe your girls are all grown. Lisa was 4 when I started to Tech! Wow, I feel old. They are both beautiful. I know you are soooo proud. I still have my 1st place cup and I can still hear your laugh. Those were such fun times. I hope your girls have great college years like we did.

I knew she would grow up to be this beautiful. You could see it in her when she was 5! Your daughters are amazing Mrs. Kathy. Mr. Ricky have a hard time with the boys! Sadie just turned two (check out the new pics on the blog!), and that makes me feel old and like time has flown, so I can't imagine what it feels like to have an 18 year old! But, Mrs. Kathy, you never age.
