A Stripper?!

I was intrigued by a recent post, of one of Todd R's friends, that shared about this personality assessment done by Starbucks based on your regular drink order when you are there.
Well - since we don't have one in our fair city I thought "I'll just type in the description of the one I usually order at our wonderful "Crescent City Coffee" for surely they are similar.
Well - apparently not. Something is VERY different.
While the brief one-word description of my "personality type" is probably dead on accurate regarding my relationship with Starbucks (since I have been to one maybe 5 times in my life), the rest of the assumptions made me laugh out loud.
Being a totally abstinate consumer of any alcoholic beverage and probably much too modest I'm afraid the "Oracle of Starbucks" has missed the mark on everything else. :)
Here is a "copy & paste" of what it revealed to me, about me -
The all-knowing Oracle of Starbucks

Behold the Oracle's wisdom:

Personality type: Clueless

You don't go to Starbucks much; when you do you just tag along with other people since you have nothing better to do. You would like to order a
Tazo Chai Crème but don't know how to pronounce it.
Most people who drink small caramel frappe with whip cream
are strippers.
Also drinks: Wine coolers
Can also be found at: The mall
Ya'll have a great day...I'm headed to the mall....in Vegas.

I too tested the oracle...apparently I'm a hippie and like to hang out at whole food markets and anywhere there's a climbing wall... too bad I live in ruston where there is none of the above.

There must be something to this - amazingly correct - my personality type is "LAME" I'm a "simple person with modest tastes and a reasonable lifestyle, in other words...boring." going to Starbucks makes me feel sophisticated and I'd like to be snooty and order an espresso but aren't sure if I'm ready for that level of excitement. I like to use fake curse words like "friggin'" and "oh, crumb!" I also drink V8 and can be found on the couch at home. How true, how true - which is usually where I am when I'm not "lurking"!

PS-you're going to VEGAS? Have a ball!

I was also labeled "Lame" by the Oracle so, Mrs. Elly, we must be kindred spirits! Mrs. Kathy - is there something you need to share with us?? ha ha That is too funny!! By the way, you asked earlier on another blog about what happened to Lance Bernard. According to my Tech directory, he is the pastor of a Baptist church in Georgia and he is married. He provided his e-mail address for the directory, so if you want it just e-mail me at chusty2@yahoo.com and I'll give it to you. Have fun at the mall!! Try to avoid shiny poles!! ha ha

OK, this made me laugh! Here are my results:
Behold the Oracle's wisdom:

Personality type: High Maintenance

You pride yourself on being assertive and direct; everyone else thinks you're bossy and arrogant. You're constantly running your mouth about topics that only you would find interesting. Your capacity for wasting other people's time is limitless. Your friends find you intolerable, that's why they're plotting to kill you.

Also drinks: Water. Bottled, chilled, with four ice cubes, a twist of lemon, in a crystal glass.
Can also be found at: Trendy martini bars

That's hilarious!!!!!!!

i'm a drinker of the tazo iced chai. here's what it has to say about me:

Personality type: Pseudo-intellectual

You're liberal and consider yourself to be laid back and open minded. Everyone else just thinks you're clueless. Your friends hate you because you always email them virus warnings and chain letters "just in case it's true." All people who drink venti tazo iced chai are potheads.

Also drinks: Sparkling water
Can also be found at: Designer grocery stores

is it true?!?!

Ok, i'm not so sure that the oracle is all knowing, but hey, maybe the rest of you agree w/ it and I just don't realize it.

How is black coffee high maintanence? That's like the absolutely simplest order there is at Starbucks. And sorry for boring the rest of you to death...apparently.

That was Michael by the way, not Meg. She's kindred spirits w/ J.B., but w/ a non-fat chai latte.

oh and apparently they don't sell diet coke at starbucks (you get the you're a moron, try again answer from the oracle when you type it in) so then i remembered that i used to get bottled water at starbucks when i went with friends in lc (i don't drink hot drinks). and the oracle says i'm lame. which i guess is true. i do sit on the couch alot and i do say things like "flippin" and "crappity" instead of their more offensive 4 letter counterparts. but i do not and will never drink a V8. yuck!

i don't think anyone wants to see a 38 1/2 week pregnant girl strip. yuck.

I guess anyone who doesn't like coffee is a cluless stripper. That is what I (Mer) am and I guess Justin would be that too, because we usually order the same thing. See you in Vegas Mrs. Kathy.

as a die-hard lover of Starbucks (hey I lived in the Emerald City for 5+ Years and new my baristas by name). I thought that was so funny, however I don't think I should share what it said about my double tall nonfat sugarfree vanilla latte. If you would like to see check it out at the link. Made me chuckle:)

For us moving to Denver from Seattle was hard b/c in Seattle their are drive-thru Starbucks and other various latte stands EVERYWHERE. Here it took me a year to find one, 10 +miles from my house but 2 right by the Univ. I teach at now....too bad we bought an automatic espresso maker from them last Christmas. So, y'all come over for Lattes or (for Michelle) hot chocolate.

So Mrs. Kathy, you have coffe shops in Ruston now? Jon died the year we lived there b/c the closest Starbucks were in Dallas, we and the Ryan Madden Family made a few trips out there, not just for Starbucks, but you know it curbed Jon's addiction for that season:)

take care all;) We are having a Seattle day here in sunny Denver so it is time for my afternoon fix:)
