Fun with Big Mabel

What a fun adventure with some of our International Friends from China and Saudi Arabia. It was enormously fun to watch them experience this
Day In the Sun with our group from Calvary.

Here is Justin and the friendly lab from next door RACING for the stick that was thrown from the pier. I think Justin won this round!

Christina, Jeremy, Cody or Justin? Who ruled the raft? Or was it the LAB?
Who could stay on the raft the longest? Who could jump out onto the raft the farthest? Who could jump over the raft? It was just one competition after another. Our students are quite the athletes!

KC and Cody felt inspired after watching the talent on "America's Greatest Talent" show. Their gymnastic prowess was remarkable!

Ashley, Chris and Brittany enjoying a little R & R after a busy day on the lake!

A Big Shout Out to Our loyal boat driver Dustin!!

Everyone loved meeting new friends - our world vision is a little bigger. And that is always a good thing.

This was so fun - I can hardly wait for our July Excursion!

Thank you students for the warm and gracious spirit you showed to new friends.

Mrs. Kathy,
I came across your blog, and saw the pictures of some of my ESL students that I teach, and I just want to say THANK YOU a million times over for taking my Saudi Arabian students on that trip. Two of my students came back today and were telling me all about it. They had such a great time, and I'm so glad that those three Saudis got to spend time with such great American students from Calvery. They are so desperate for interaction with Americans and you guys are the best kind of interaction. Ya'll are an answered prayer.

Thank you for letting us know how they felt - I will surely pass this along to the others. They are very lucky to have YOU as a teacher, as well!

Mrs. Kathy...I am having thoughts of you. As I was leaving the firework show tonight at Temple, I was telling my husband, Jason, about the Hee Haw show. I have NO idea why that popped into my head, but now I am stuck singing those things. I miss those days...you were always SO much fun! :) Just wanted to say hello! :)

I had to drop in and say hello. I have not visited in a while. BHoward and I were remebering the days of our youth last night and missing you.

It does look like the Kennedy lake house, but it's the Sandy Allen family lake house - a wonderful place!

I miss ya'll, too!!
