Nightmares Come True Sometimes

Public Speaking Nightmares that have recently come true -

#1 Heading to Crossett, AR - ended up in Monticello. Turned around and headed back south and right into Crossett - ran out of gas. Yep - the Minister of Music had to come and get me so I walked into the women's event just in time to hear the end of the "special music" and walk up on the stage.

#2 Dry Creek, LA - having a young lady walk up beside me as I'm headed into the conference center and say...."Mrs. Kathy, your skirt's up in the back."
** I guess this one could have been worse - could'a had on a thong.

Megan - she was a great counselor. The girls coming to camp will be really blessed to have her this summer. We both shared our mutual love for you all!

I laughed out loud and of course thought of your Wal-Mart episode in Lindale, TX. I don't think you are able to have a speaking engagement without some crazy story to go along with it!

You just wouldn't be Mrs. Kathy without stories like these. :) I can't wait to hang out with you when I come home sometime this summer. I'll call you! :)

Mandy - you better come out here when you get home! and Stacy - the WalMart skirt is the one I had on!!! I'll have to start a "Tales of the Traveling Skirt" journal.

Mrs. K you are too funny. However, if you had had a thong on she probably wouldn't have had to tell you your skirt was up. I'm sure the draft would have been sufficient. ;D Check out my latest blog, I believe it's along the lines of our early morning conversation last week.
